Konklusion

hereUK summary
It has been a bit of a mixed pleasure to test this i7-7820X CPU. The performance is quite enough, and raised slightly in relation to, for example. I7-6900K in some tests. But the same phenomenon goes again with this CPU as i9, it becomes too hot under load and using too much power, in particular by OC. That is how much Intel's new X series in a nutshell. With that said, it´s stille a good performing CPU that easily could constitute the heart in any High end PC for example. for Gaming if you will provide the approximately 4700 Kr as the CPU costs. Conclusive however, it is a really good CPU as I overall was pretty well satisfied with (apart from the wattage and heat).
Innovation/Technology - 4
The technology has not changed significant since we saw Skylake CPU´s, so it is again just old wine in new bottles of Skylake-X Cpus? Something could unfortunately indicate it. The RYZEN also becomes quite warm under OC, but still not quite as warm as i9-7900X or Skylake-X Cpus in General. When you round 85-90 Degrees Celsius is IMO too much especially if you want to run with the OC all the time.
Performance - 4
I really think the performance is reasonably good and it does not come much later into after i9-7900X as I tested lately. So this is an eight core CPU with lots of effort. I do not, however, find it impressive against the previous generation CPU i7 6900K. With this i7 CPU you also forego the 44 PCIe lanes and must make do with 28.
Price - 4
The price is still somewhat high compared to RYZEN Cpus, but with this 7820X you come more down towards the payable end of the scale, and for the price you get still a CPU with Quad RAM channel which certainly also contributes to a good performance.
