RTX 2070 Super er baseret på NVIDIAs Touring arkitektur, som gør det muligt at lave real time raytracing og meget andet. Kortet er blandt de første, til at bruge de nye hurtigere GDDR6 RAM.

Da RTX 2070 Super er byggede på Nvidia's TU104, har MSI valgt at genbruge deres kølerløsning, som de bruger på deres RTX 2080. Køleren er utroligt ren i designet og så med et lille puf af RGB lys i hver side. Køleren klarer det utroligt godt, kortet kom aldrig over 69c lige meget hvad man smid efter det, og samtidligt holdt støjniveauet nede.

Ydelse - 4
MSI RTX 2070 Super Gaming Trio leverer ydelse tæt på GTX 1080 TI - RTX 2080, og med et overclock, som jeg var fuldt ud tilfreds med, vil det endda slå det.  Det er lidt ærgligt at MSI har valgt at gå med Micron GDDR6, da de svinger for meget, sample for sample når det kommer til OC. Heldigvis var vi heldige med vores, og kunne presse hele +1000Mhz (16Ghz) ud af dem.

Pris - 3
Med en pris på 4716 kr., så er den ikke meget dyrere end RTX 2070 Super FE. Men stadig for langt deroppe af, da den kommer alt for tæt på RTX 2080.

UK summary

New wine on old bottles? You might think that this would be the case with NVDIAs latest RTX series video cards, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. This isn’t just a memory upgrade, as we saw in the 10-series. It has received an upgrade on nearly every aspect of the card; CUDA cores, Shading Units, SM Count, Tensor Cores and even more RT Cores. Besides all this we finally see the card ship with NV-Link support on the xx70-series. With all this we see a nice performance upgrade from the earlier RTX 2070 at the same price point. The cooler from MSI, which they also use on the RTX 2080 card is really good, it can handle the heat and does it silently, no matter what you throw at it. In terms of overclocking we hit 2100mhz on the core and 16ghz on the RAM, which I find completely reasonable. My only criticism is that MSI has chosen to opt for a 2x8pin power solution together with a 240 watts bios, which is lower than that on the Founders Edition.

Because the RTX 2070 Super is based on NVIDIAs TU104, MSI has chosen to reuse its cooler solution from their RTX 2080 card. The cooler has a really clean designand only a bit of RGB on the sides. It cools really well and, in the test, we never hit more than 69 degrees Celsius no matter what you threw at it and simultaneously be really silent.

Performance – 4
MSI RTX 2070 Super delivers performance close to GTX 1080 Ti and RTX 2080, and with some overclocking headroom, which I’m quite pleased with. It’s a bit sad that MSI has chosen to opt for Micron GDDR6, because the vary so much in quality when it comes to overclocking. Luckily, we could hit +1000mhz out of them, which gave us ram speeds of 16Ghz.

Price – 3
With a price point of 4716 DKK, this RTZ 2070 Super isn’t much more expensive than the RTX 2070 Super FE, but still too expensive compared to the RTX 2080.
