Konklusion

Så kom vi til vejs ende for testen af NETGEAR Nighthawk AX11000 WiFi 6, oplevelsen har været som en pose blandet bolsjer. Til den positive side, kan nævnes hastigheden på denne Nighthawk AX11000 er intet mindre end fantastisk, der er rigeligt med fart på den trådløse del samt på WAN/LAN.

Menuerne i Nighthawk synes jeg er en rodet affære, det må NETGEAR simpelthen kunne gøre bedre.
Det er frustrerende at der er flere muligheder, for at scrolle ned på en given side i menuen/menuerne.  

Ser vi på sikkerhedsaspektet, er det rart at se NETGEAR har et minimumskrav på 6 karakter for adgangskoden til login, thumbs up herfra, selvom jeg havde fortrukket en længde på mindst 15 karakter/tegn.
Det skuffer mig derfor at, de ikke tvinger brugeren til at lave en stærk adgangskode, især når deres seneste firmware har sikkerhedsbrister som kan udnyttes af de kriminelle på det store grumme internet.

Efter jeg har skrevet artiklen, har NETGEAR trukket firmware V1.0.2.98_1.0.54 tilbage fra deres download site, dette skyldes at NTP (Network Time Protocol) delen og deraf forældre kontrol ikke fungere korrekt, samt andre bugs. Ellers har alle tilsluttede klienter kablede såvel som trådløse kørt gnidningsfrit, uden udfald eller lign det er absolut godkendt.

NETGEAR Nighthawk AX11000 WiFi 6 (802.11a) er en tri-band router, med 2x 5GHz bånd som understøtter hastigheder op til 4800Mbps, for båndet på 2.4GHz understøttes op til 1200Mbps.
NETGEAR Nighthawk AX11000 WiFi 6 er selvfølgelig bagud kompatible med 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi standarderne.

Der er alt i pakken fra NETGEAR, til at kunne tilslutte routeren hverken mere eller mindre.

Designet er ganske nydeligt, hvor routeren sagtens kan placeres i stuen.

Der er faktisk ikke så meget at sige til ydelsen, den sidder lige i skabet både kablet samt trådløst.

Pris - 2
NETGEAR Nighthawk AX11000 WiFi 6 har en vejledende udsalgspris på 3164,- hvilket jeg synes ligger en anelse for højt, taget i betragtning af hvad der ellers kan købes på markedet mere flere eller bedre funktioner for en laver pris, vi lander derfor på et flot 2 tal.

UK summary

Then we came to the end of the road for the test of the NETGEAR Nighthawk AX11000 WiFi 6, the experience has been like a bag of mixed sweets. On the plus side, the speed of this Nighthawk AX11000 is nothing short of amazing, there is plenty of speed on the wireless part as well as on the WAN/LAN.

The menus in Nighthawk I think is a messy affair, NETGEAR must simply be able to do better.
It is frustrating that there are several options to scroll down on a given page in the menu/menus.

Looking at the security aspect, it's nice to see NETGEAR has a minimum requirement of 6 characters for the login password, thumbs up from here, even though I would have preferred a length of at least 15 characters/characters.

It therefore disappoints me that they do not force the user to create a strong password, especially when their latest firmware has security flaws that can be exploited by the criminals on the big grim internet.

After I wrote the article, NETGEAR has withdrawn firmware V1.0.2.98_1.0.54 from their download site, this is because the NTP (Network Time Protocol) part and hence parental controls are not working properly, as well as other bugs. Otherwise, all connected clients wired as well as wireless run smoothly, with no outages.
It is absolutely approved.

Of course, the NETGEAR Nighthawk AX11000 WiFi 6 is backwards compatible with the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi standards.

The design is quite nice, where the router can easily be placed in the living room.

There is actually not much to say about the performance, it sits right in the closet both wired and wireless.

NETGEAR Nighthawk AX11000 WiFi 6 has a suggested retail price of 3164, - which I think is a bit too high, considering what else can be bought on the market with more or better features for a lower price.
