Extreme Engine Digi+ er endnu en gang blevet opgraderet. Spændingsfrekvensen kan stadig styres, men bundkortet har fået BlackWing chokes og NexFET MOSFET der begge hjælper med at levere strømmen så effektivt som muligt og med minimalt tab.

Det medfølgende mPCIe combo II kort indeholder et WiFi netkort der kan klare den nyeste 802.11ac protokol og både 2.4 GHz og 5 GHz bånd. Der er desuden plads til en 1.8" SSD til Intel's SSD caching eller blot som ekstra lager.

UEFI BIOS'en har også fået en mindre overhaling hvor det nu er muligt at tilføje egne noter til forskellige funktioner, og at have en favorit side med de funktioner man bruger mest.

ASUS SSD Secure Erase sikrer at din SSD bliver totalt slettet og kan faktisk hjælpe med at hæve levetiden på SSD'en og få samme ydelse som da SSD'en var ny.

USB Flashback giver mulighed for at installerer en anden BIOS uden RAM eller CPU er monteret i bundkortet.

ASUS har også lavet et RAMDisk program, der transformerer ubrugt RAM til et lager der kan være over 20 gange så hurtigt som en SSD. Når systemet starter op, kan programmet smide alle filer over på RAMDisk lageret hvorefter de kan læses utrolig hurtigt og nedsætter læse/skrive operationer på SSD'en hvilket også kan få den til at leve længere.
