Det som springer i øjnene er 1 GHz Dualcore Snapdragon S4 CPU og 512 MB RAM og Windows Phone 8. Det er det langsomste hardware i WP8 platformen, men i forhold til f.eks. Android, så er topmodel for 2 generationer siden (som f.eks. Galaxy S2) eller den helt nye Sony Xperia M, i hvert fald hurtigere end mange budgettelefoner. 800x400 opløsningen er ganske fornuftig for en budgettelefon og 5Mpixel kamera er også ok. Der er ikke full HD video, så skal man op i Lumia 820 eller hurtigere. Der er et relativt stort batteri på 1430mAh, som må siges at være godkendt i denne klasse. 4" skærm med hele 600nits lover godt. Der er også 8 GB lagerplads som endda kan udvides med microSD kort - et stort plus.
