Konklusion
UK summary
Not much have been changed compared to the first model we reviewed. But there is no harm done, as this one is equally good for most tasks and takes up almost no space at all.
Innovation/Technology - 3
The concept is well-known, but ASUS has yet again given a good shot at it. Although there is nothing that can really justify more than a decent grade of three.
Bundle/Accessories - 4
Quite a bit of useful software comes along, and so does a VESA-mounting bracket. All in all an excellent bundle, although a mouse and keyboard would have been nice to top it off.
Design/Layout - 4
It is both compact and very stylish, and furthermore super easy to open and access RAM or hard drive. It is however a bit of a drawback that all USB ports and even the on/off button is located on the back.
Software - 5
For once this computer has not been filled up with all kinds of useless trial-software, but instead a selection of ASUS´ own software. A lot of these are quite useful, and can even communicate with your tablet or smartphone via their own apps.
Performance - 3
The performance is quite decent and dedicated graphics does provide a boost compared to integrated. I do however miss just a bit more raw power and maybe an SSD to get us above the average.
Price - 3
The version described here is priced at around 4000 DKK which is just between the cheapest and most expensive version of the VC60 that we reviewed last year. It is not at all overpriced, but the prices doesn´t qualify for more than a "small" three.
