Konklusion

9850 X4 viser faktisk fine resultater i flere tests.
Pris - 4
En Phenom 9850 X4 BE koster, i skrivende stund, cirka 1450kr.

hereUK summary
It has been a pleasure to test this Phenom 9850 X4. AMD has made the Phenom better with this B3 stepping. There is better performance, along with a more oc friendly cpu, compared to the older B2 models. The TLB bug has been fixed. So it's definitely a step in the right direction. Tho it has to be noted, that in tests with single cpu performance, it's actually a bit behind. This is due to the low L2 cache that each core has. But as there comes more and more programs that support more than one or more, you will see this Phenom kick some ***.

With the 9850 X4 versus the old 9900, we have actually seen an improvement. The new B3 stepping makes it possible to OC more than with the old B2. 9850 X4 has shown fine results in more tests. I have to say that I had expected it to perform like the Phenom 9900, but it has shown to perform better in more tests than its predecessor. So if we look at the performance versus earlier Phenom models, it deserves a fair score.
Price - 4
The cost of a Phenom 9850 X4 BE, is about 1450DKK. It's about the same as a non-BE 9850 X4. So there isn't any extra costs involved with buying a processor with an unlocked multiplier. So it's definitely an advantage to buy the Black Edition insted of a regular 9850 X4, even though you're not going to OC.
