Konklusion
Man kan få billigere, bl.a.

hereUK Summary
ASUS really has an ace up their sleeves with the RT-N15. The router is beautiful and well designed. It has integrated antennas, a gigabit switch (a must have) and is ultimately the fastest wireless router we've had for testing here at HwT. Way to go ASUS! And the router can be purchased for around € 107, which makes it a bit more expensive than the TRENDnet TEW-672GR router, though - but the router is well worth the additional 13 Euro, because you'll be getting a faster, neater and more allround router.
Compared to the SiteCom WL-308 router, which was the reference-router for this test, It lacked a better working QoS-function, which is working quite well on the SiteCom. If ASUS manages to implement this thoroughly in the next router, it will be a real killer!
Innovation/Technology - 4
A router with a raging fast wireless network in this price class really deserves 4 points.
Bundle/Accessories - 4
There was no printed manual, but the manual was available on the bundled CD. I still feel, however, that you quite often have the need to look at a quick-setup guide in order to find passwords or the ip-address for the routers webinterface (this can be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.10.1 or ... ). Of course you can find the router as a standard-gateway, but not all users know how to bewilder themselves in front of a DOS-prompt or similar.
Design/Layout - 5
A really nice design, that will most likely fit many users of ASUS (or Apple) products. The routher has no external antennas, which is a really nice touch. In practice, this can be a bit of a burden since it will be very difficult to route the antenna to another, to simply enhance the length of it or replace it, but luckily most people won't need to do that.
Software - 5
The Webinterface (v. 2.0.1.1) is really nice looking and different, while also providing a nice overview. It contains most of the options, that a 'regular' user will need.
Performance - 5
With a ragingly fast wireless interface and a gigabit switch, this router is really on top of the hill! The only minor quirk is that the speed dropped a bit when using encryption.
Price - 4
The price for this router is around € 107 and this puts it at the cheaper end of the scales for wireless routers with a gigabit switch. The TRENDnet can be had cheaper though, but in comparison I won't hesitate to say that the ASUS RT-N15 is well worth the additional bucks. Nonetheless, it will still only amount to 4 points, as it is still € 107 for a 'just' a router.
