En NAS server er ikke et produkt der opfordrer til at inkludere massive mængder ekstra tilbehør, så du får selve N2200XXX NAS boksen (uden harddiske), en strømforsyning, kabler, software og manualer til installationen.

I stakken af CD'er finder vi ud over et initieringsprogram og Twonky Mediaserver, en version af Acronis True Image. Programmet kan bruges til at tage backup af dine filer og/eller hele din harddisk. Hvis man bruger de par minutter det tager en gang imellem at lave et image af sit system og gemme det på NAS'en, så er det pludselig ikke så kritisk hvis PC'en rammes af en ondsindet virus, eller harddisken brænder af. I med en ny harddisk, boot på Acronis boot cd'en og overfør det sidst brændte image fra NAS'en. Det er dog en god ide lige at teste om Acronis CD'en har drivere til dit netværkskort, ellers skal du hente en nyere version hos Acronis.
