Man har også fået monteret 12 faset VRM-strømforsyning der giver stabil strøm til CPU'en. Da strømmen kan fordeles på alle 12, er der ikke så meget pres og dette giver derfor et køligere og mere stabilt system.
3D Power fra Gigabyte er lidt ligesom Digi+ VRM moduler fra Asus. De er digitale og der er mulighed for at styre strømmen der går til CPU'en og RAM digitalt. Der er også mulighed for at styre strømfrekvensen der render til CPU og RAM.
En BIOS jeg endnu ikke har stiftet bekendtskab med er Gigabytes 3D BIOS. Efter hvad jeg har set skulle den være meget spændende med en flot grafisk interface.
Med ultra-high 32GB/s båndbredde introduceres nu PCIe 3.0, der er næste generation PCI Express standard. Der er tale om endnu en fordobling af datamængden du kan presse igennem soklen, og dermed er der åbent for udvikling af endnu hurtigere grafikkort i fremtiden. Den nye standard er naturligvis bagudkompatibel med PCIe 1.0 og 2.0.
De fleste kender måske Gigabyte's Ultra Durable 3, men med deres nye Z77 serie er de kommet en version højere, så i dag hedder det Ultra Durable 4. Gigabyte har, udover at have et dobbelt kobber lag inde i printpladen, også bygget det op på en helt anden måde, der sikre systemet meget mere imod fugt. Udover dette er der også kommet bedre beskyttelse imod strømudslag.
Virtu MVP fra LucidLogix kan boost ydelsen ved at reducere overflødige rendering opgaver mellem CPU'en, GPU'en og skærmen.
EZ Smart Response er et program der hjælper en med at komme igang med Intels Smart Response. Normalt skal man formatere og installere et nyt windows når man har fået sat det hele op, men med EZ Smart Response er det ikke nødvendigt, programmet gør det hele for en.
Gigabyte kalder dette "On/Off charge", og dette giver mulighed for at oplade sin iPhone, iPad eller iPod via USB portene selvom at systemet er slukket helt. Det er med andre ord en USB port med konstant arbejdsspænding på.
LAN Optimizer hjælper brugeren med at prioritere netværkstrafik, således at der både kan hentes ting fra nettet og spilles online spil samtidig.
