P8P67 er endnu et bundkort i serien på 7 forskellige P67 bundkort. Du kan også få DELUXE, PRO, LE, M, M-PRO og EVOn. Fælles for dem er en ny digital styring af strømmen til cpu kaldet Digi+ VRM. P8P67 Deluxe har en 16+2 faset strømforsyning, mens de mindre modeller har 12+2. Den lille LE model har dog en gammeldags analog 4+1 strømdel.

BIOS systemet er lavet om, så du slipper for det gråblå DOS miljø, med tekst-interface og underligt kodesprog. Trykker du på Enter Setup knappen får du en flot grafisk brugerflade hvor du kan stille de grundlæggende parametre. Det er det der hedder en EFI BIOS ( Extensible Firmware Interface Basic Input Output System ), og selv om det ikke er første gang vi ser det, så lader det til at ASUS nu tager skridtet og implementerer det på en hel serie, uden mulighed for at flashe om til en gammeldags type. Der er også indbygget Bluetooth modul på bundkortet. Funktionen henvender sig især til brugere af smartphones, og der medfølger en BT-GO utility, der sørger for filoverførsler, kalenderfunktion, musikafspilning og andet.

Det er et kanon godt board. Har selv et, som er parret med en 2500K @ 4600Mhz (46x100) og der er bare ingen problemer. Og min køling er bare en meget billig Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 (200W) og cpu bliver max 70 grader under LinX test.
Har endnu ikke taget mig sammen og fået købt et Socket 1156 Bolt-Thru-Kit til min Thermaltake True Copper, men jeg ved heller ikke om det kan betale sig.
