Konklusion

Innovation/Teknologi - 4
HD 7870 noget af det nyeste på markedet med 28Nm produktionsteknologi og AMDs nye overclockvenlige Core Next arkitektur. Ligeledes gør 2GB RAM, at kortet ikke løber tør for hukommelse selv i de større opløsninger.

Bundle/Tilbehør - 3
Det er ikke megen bundle HiS sender med til dette kort, men det burde være nok til installation af kortet. Selvom kortet ikke kommer med PCI-e adaptorer, syntes jeg ikke det skal trække ned så vi lander på en 3'er. 

Design/Layout - 4
IceQ køleren er blevet pænere i den nye generation og har absolut ingen problemer med at køle Pitcarn chippen. Dog mener jeg at køleren skulle have været mere støjsvag, derfor lander vi på en lille 4'er. 

Software/BIOS - 3
Kortet benytter AMD's standard drivere som fungerer ganske fortrinligt, og kortet har ingen special BIOS eller software - vi lander derfor på 3 point.

Ydelse - 3
HD 7870 chippen yder godt og giver mulighed for en masse overclocking. Dog ligger dette kort meget tæt på HD 7950 og GTX 670 prismæssigt, og med disse som konkurrenter er HD 7870 pluselig ret langsomt. Karakteren 3 er givet da ydelseskarakteren ikke bør påvirkes af kortets pris. 

Pris - 2
HiS IceQ HD 7870 1 Ghz kan erhveres for 2700 kr. For den samme pris kan man få et HD 7970 og for sølle 300,- kr mere kan du få et et GTX 670 i maskinen. Selv hvis budgettet stopper på 2700,- kr, kan jeg ikke finde et eneste argument for, at købe et HD 7870 frem for et standardkølet HD 7950.
  

UK summary

HiS IceQ HD7870 1 Ghz is a very well attempted try on a wellcooled and quiet HD 7870 card. The small makeover of  the IceQ cooler has done marvels and the card looks now even better. The cooler has no problems with the 7870 chip, though the card is not as quiet under load as I had hoped for, so here there´s room for improvement. The coolers efficiency means though, that the card is a joy to overclock, where the load temperature did not rise significantly. The IceQ card is a solid buy, but if you are after a very quiet 7870 card, I would wait and see what other producers has to offer

Innovation/Technology - 4
HD 7870 is some of the newest on the market with 28Nm productiontechnology and AMD´s new overclock friendly Core Next architechture. Also the 2 GB RAM ensures the card does not run out of memory even in high resolutions. 

Bundle/Accessories - 3
It´s not much of a bundle that HiS embeds this card, but it should be enough to install the card. Even though the card does not come with a PCI-e adaptor, I don´t find that to draw the card down, so we land on a 3. 

Design/Layout - 4
The IceQ cooler has become nicer i the new generation and has absolutely no problems with cooling the Pitcarn chip. I do however think that the cooler could have been more silent and therefore we land on a small 4. 

Software/BIOS - 3
The card uses AMD´s standard drivers which works excellent, and the card has no special BIOS or software - we therefor land on a 3. 

Performance - 3
The HD 7870 chip performs well and provide the oppourtunity for a lot of overclocking. Although this card is very close to the HD7950 and the GTX670 affordable wise, and with these as the competitors suddenly the HD7870 is slow. The grade 3 is given because the performancegrade should not be affected by the cards price. 

Price - 2
HiS IceQ HD 7860 1Ghz can be acquired for 2700DKK. For the same price you can buy a HD7950 og for a measly 300DKK more, you can have a GTX 670 in your computer. Even though if your budget ends at 2700DKK, I can´t find a single argument in favor of buying a HD7870 over a standard cooled HD7950
