Test: ASUS NX500

Konklusion

ASUS har med NX500 skabt en bærbar computer, der tager kampen op med high-end bærbare som f.eks. Apples MacBook Pro. I kraft af den fantastiske skærm samt gode højtalere, ydelse og design, står NX500 som samlet pakke stærkt. Høj kvalitet og gode specifikationer kommer dog som regel også et stort prisskilt, og NX500 ligger desværre også i den ende af skalaen, hvor man skal have den helt store tegnebog frem. 
 

Innovation/Teknologi - 4
NX500 er spækket med den nyeste teknologi, med Ultra HD touch skærmen som det mest bemærkelsesværdige. Der er dog ikke så meget innovativt og nyskabende at komme efter, så helt til tops kommer vi ikke. 

Bundle/Tilbehør - 5
Der er både det nødvendige, det ekstra og prikken over i'et. Uden at bundlet er ekstravagant, indeholder det alt hvad der skal til for at få en topkarakter. 

Design/Layout - 5
NX500 er en virkelig flot bærbar af høj kvalitet. Den fylder og vejer en anelse mere end en MacBook Pro 15, men den lille detalje er ikke nok til at trække et helt point ned. 

Software - 3
Der følger lidt forskelligt ganske fint software med, men ikke noget der for alvor gør den store forskel. Vi lander lidt over middel. 

Ydelse - 4
Ydelsen er god hele vejen rundt, både hvad angår processorkraft, grafik og batterilevetid.  

Pris - 2
NX500 koster i den testede version 19.999:-, og altså lige omkring det samme som konkurrenten fra Apple. Den fås dog også i en version med 8 GB RAM og 256 GB SSD, og så er prisen noget lavere nemlig 13.999:-. Det er bestemt ikke et fund til pengene, men heller ikke dyrere end det nærliggende alternativ.

With the NX500 ASUS have created a laptop that is able to compete with high end laptops like the Apple MacBook Pro. The NX500 features an outstanding display, great built in speakers, good performance and beautiful design and makes up a great overall package. However high quality and specs usually comes with a price tag to match, and the NX500 is not an exception to that rule. 
 

Innovation/Technology - 4
The NX500 is crammed with the latest technology with the Ultra HD touch display as its most noticeable feature. Due to a lack of truly innovative solutions we do not get all the way to the top. 

Bundle/Accessories - 5
Without overdoing it, the bundle meets all the requirements to get the best grade there is. 

Design/Layout - 5
The quality and the design of the NX500 is outstanding, and even though it weights a bit more than the MacBook Pro 15. I believe that a top grade is justified. 

Software - 3
The software package is a bit better than average, but doesn't contain anything truly noticeable. 

Performance - 4
The performance is very good overall, both when it comes to computing power, graphics performance and battery life.  

Price - 2
In this configuration the NX500 costs 19,999 DKK, which is roughly the same as its main rival from Apple. It does come in a cheaper version with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD lowering the price significantly to 13,999 DKK. It is not a bargain, but on par with the closest alternative.
