Specifikationer
Nedenfor har jeg kopieret de tekniske specifikationer fra ASUS. Kort fortalt kan dog nævnes at ASUS ROG Phone kommer udstyret med Snapdragons 845 chipset, dog i en fabriksoverclocket version, som kan køre op til 2.96 GHz imod de normale 2.8GHz man som regel ser med andre telefoner med chipsættet. Parret med 8 GB ram er der altså dømt rigeligt med ydelse, på trods af at Snapdragon 845 efterhånden er udskiftet med den nyere Snapdragon 855 som topper i smartphone verdenen.
Telefonen kommer også med en sand gamer skærm med op til 90 Hz på de 6 tommer og med en opløsning på 2160x1080. Selvom Razer Phone har op til 120 Hz, synes jeg stadigt det er rimeligt imponerende at se på en smartphone.
Batteriet i ASUS ROG Phone er på hele 4000 mAh, som er i den højere ende af skalaen, og burde give ekstra tid til spil på farten. Det afspejles dog også i vægten som er på hele 200 gram, mere end Samsungs Galaxy S10+, også den tungere ceramic udgave.
Derudover har vi det vante dual kamera setup med vidvinkel linse og AI foto teknologi. Telefonen har desuden to højttalere på fronten så man kan få stereo lyd, noget man ikke så ofte ser på telefoner i dag. I samme dur er telefonen udstyret med 3.5mm jack port, noget som også ofte undlades nu om dage.
Telefonen kører Android 8.1 og der er så vidt jeg kan se ikke nogen melding om hvorvidt der kommer en opdatering til Android Pie, for ikke at nævne Android Q som er på trapperne.
