Konklusion
I alt 4.
Software/BIOS - 3
Pris - N/A

hereUK summary
Large expectations turned into great disappointment. The motherboard combined with the ram that was available to us performed far from acceptable. This is probably caused of the supplied BIOS, but it was not possible to get a new before the deadline. But let us now give some points where it makes sense.
Innovation & Technology - 5
24 phases of power management coupled with the new P55 chipset is a powerful combination. This along with the combined USB / eSATA ports triggers a clear 5.
Design / Layout - 4
A myriad of connectivity options makes the motherboard an attractive card for enthusiasts. The location of the components created no problem with the used setup, but once we move in SLI / Crossfire solutions, there will obviously be problems accessing particular the Clear_CMOS buttom and PCI ports. But this is part of the ATX limitations. 3 points for a layout which is as it should be, but not too much more. Design obtain an extra point with its rough appearance, giving the board a total of 4 points.
Software / BIOS - 3
BIOS on this demo board contains so many features that it would require an entire article to review them in detail. Unfortunately, the BIOS had some trouble dealing with our ram, which of course limit the total score a lot. I therefore give 3 points for a well built BIOS, which unfortunately has some beginner problems, but hopefully will be resolved in the final version.
Performance - 2
Compared to the other boards that have been tested, this board is a total flop. The ram speed destroys most results, but in the ram independent tests, the card manage to keep up with the rest. It is therefore a sad 2 points to a board with a huge potential, but with a bad BIOS
Price - N / A
Since it would not be fair to give a price evaluation on a prerelease sample, this is not rated. I would like to note that the board price is just above 1600,- DKK.
